She holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Special Education from National University, San Diego (2010), and a Doctor of Education in Administration from Walden University, Minnesota (2012). She is also a Senior Project Manager certified by the International Association of Project Managers (IAPM) and a Certified Scrum Practitioner, with multiple teaching credentials licensed by the State of California.
Dr. Onyia has led the planning, development, and management of several educational institutions, providing leadership in governance, infrastructure development, curriculum systems, and operational excellence. She is also an education consultant and interior designer known for creating functional, child-centered learning environments.
An author and mentor, her books include Professional Development for Teachers and Administrators, Unstoppable – A Girl’s Guide, and Secrets to Hiring the Best Teachers. She is the founder of EduTribe, a professional learning community that supports teacher development and collaboration.
Dr. Onyia has built and led teams of over 200 staff and is widely respected as a visionary education leader committed to strengthening institutions, empowering teachers, and advancing educational excellence.
